No More Collecting Stage Girls! Revue Starlight Re LIVE Announces Its EOS

Revue Starlight Re LIVE: Curtain Call on September 30th

The popular mobile game, Revue Starlight Re LIVE, based on the anime series, will officially shut down its servers on September 30th, 2024, at 07:00 UTC. After nearly six years on Android, this chapter of the Revue Starlight story will come to an end.

Why the Shutdown?

While initially a promising continuation of the anime's narrative, Revue Starlight Re LIVE faced challenges over its lifespan. Factors contributing to its closure include declining player engagement, repetitive events, reused assets, and costly battle passes. Storyline inconsistencies, such as the abrupt shift from The Giraffe storyline, further impacted the game's popularity. The server closure is global, affecting all players worldwide.

A Few Shining Moments

Despite its eventual demise, Revue Starlight Re LIVE boasted some positive aspects. Its soundtrack, featuring beloved songs from the anime, was a highlight. The game also showcased impressive 3D graphics and Live2D animations.

A Final Encore

Though the game's time is limited, players still have a few weeks to enjoy its final events. Developers are launching several campaigns in August and September, including a "Thank You For Everything" campaign offering ten free pulls daily, and a two-month birthday celebration with two "New Stage Girl Gacha" events. Download Revue Starlight Re LIVE from the Google Play Store to experience its final moments.
