TRAGsoft is adding a roguelike twist to its popular monster-taming RPG, Coromon, with the upcoming release of Coromon: Rogue Planet. This exciting new title will be available on nearly all major platforms, including Android, launching sometime in 2025.
What's New?
A new trailer accompanies the announcement, offering a glimpse into the game's features. Coromon: Rogue Planet retains the classic turn-based combat of the original Coromon, but incorporates roguelite elements for increased replayability. Players will explore the ever-changing Veluan wilderness, featuring over ten dynamic biomes.
The game introduces a "rescue and recruit" system, allowing players to unlock seven unique characters with distinct playstyles by aiding them in the wild. Over 130 monsters await, each possessing unique elemental affinities, personalities, and abilities.
A meta-progression system ensures continuous character and equipment upgrades, adding depth and strategic layers to gameplay. Players will also participate in a collaborative interstellar spaceship mystery, contributing resources and working alongside others.
