Crunchyroll's mobile release of the critically acclaimed rhythm roguelike, Crypt of the NecroDancer, is now available on Android! Previously released on PC and with brief appearances on other mobile platforms, this enhanced version, simply titled "Crunchyroll: NecroDancer," offers a wealth of new content.
What is Crypt of the NecroDancer?
Players take on the role of Cadence, a treasure hunter's daughter, venturing into a rhythmically challenging crypt to rescue her missing parent. The roguelike nature ensures each playthrough is unique. With 15 playable characters, each boasting distinct styles, players must move and attack in time with Danny Baranowsky's original soundtrack. Failing to maintain the beat results in immediate failure. Expect a diverse cast of enemies, from dancing skeletons to hip-hop dragons!
More Than Just a Port
This mobile release isn't just a simple port. Crunchyroll and Brace Yourself Games have included remixes, fresh content, and even Danganronpa character skins. Cross-platform multiplayer and mod support are also featured. Further exciting news for fans – Hatsune Miku DLC and the Synchrony expansion are slated for release later this year.
Available now on the Google Play Store for Crunchyroll subscribers. Stay tuned for more gaming news, including the upcoming Star Trek Lower Decks x Doctor Who crossover!
