Deadlock's February Update: Minor Tweaks, Major Impacts
Valve continues to roll out updates for Deadlock, this time focusing on smaller adjustments to four heroes and key item changes. The update, the fifth of 2025 and the first this February, marks a shift in the game's development cycle – updates are now released on an as-needed basis rather than following a fixed schedule.
Calico suffered significant nerfs. Her Return to Shadows ability received a substantial cooldown increase (ten seconds), and 20% of its speed boost was shifted to Tier 2. Damage from her Tier 2 Leaping Slash was also reduced.
Sinclair received visual improvements with updated sounds and animations. More notably, his Rabbit Hex ability is now area-of-effect (AoE). Holliday and Wraith also experienced nerfs, though specifics weren't detailed.
Item adjustments included a decrease in the number of stacks granted by Ammo Scavenger, removing its health bonus. Extra Stamina and Restorative Shot no longer offer Fire Rate and Weapon Damage boosts, respectively.
