This guide explores befriending the enigmatic Dwarf in Stardew Valley. While not as rewarding as other friendships, it adds a unique element to the game. This updated guide reflects changes introduced in versions 1.5 and 1.6.
Locating the Dwarf:
The Dwarf resides in the mines, accessible by breaking a boulder (using a copper pickaxe or bomb) to the right of the first floor entrance.
Unlocking Communication:
Before meaningful interaction, collect all four Dwarf Scrolls (artifacts) and donate them to the museum. Gunther will then provide a Dwarvish translation guide.
Gift Giving:
Friendship with the Dwarf hinges on gifting. Up to two gifts per week are accepted. His birthday (Summer 22nd) multiplies friendship points gained by eight.
