Fortnite Chapter 6, Season 1 introduces Sprites, helpful entities offering players items and abilities. The Earth Sprite, the most beneficial but elusive, is found only on the new Chapter 6 map in Battle Royale, Zero Build, and Ranked modes.
Earth Sprite Locations:
The Earth Sprite has nearly two dozen potential spawn points, each marked by a solitary lantern (see image below). However, only two Sprites appear per match, requiring players to search multiple locations.
A comprehensive map (like the one from Perfect Score on YouTube, shown below) pinpoints all 22 possible locations:
These locations include areas north and northeast of Flooded Frogs, Magic Mosses, Demon’s Dojo, Whiffy Warf, Pumped Power, Twinkle Terrace, Lost Lake, Brutal Boxcars, the eastern border where green and brown biomes meet, northwest of Shining Span, west of Seaport City, north of Burd, east of Warriors Watch and south of Foxy Floodgate, west of Canyon Crossing (including a snowy mountain location), between Masked Meadows and Hopeful Heights, and three spots north and northeast of Hopeful Heights towards Seaport City and Shining Span.
Giving Weapons to the Earth Sprite:
Locating the Sprite is the challenge. Once found, simply interact with it (using the appropriate button) while holding a weapon. You'll lose the weapon, but gain a random Legendary-rarity weapon in return, completing the Week 1 Quest and awarding 25,000 XP. This makes the effort worthwhile, providing a significant in-game advantage.
Fortnite is available on multiple platforms, including Meta Quest 2 and 3.
