Freedom Wars Remastered: Boosting Your Arsenal

Quick Links

Freedom Wars Remastered offers numerous ways to customize your loadout for missions. While weapons and Thrones are less frequently swapped, Combat Items—consumable resources with diverse uses—require careful management. You'll occasionally receive Combat Items as mission rewards, but this isn't always sufficient. Initially, you're limited to one Combat Item; here's how to overcome these restrictions.

How To Equip More Combat Items In Freedom Wars Remastered

Increasing your Combat Item capacity requires obtaining specific Entitlements. In your cell, access the Window On Liberty and select "Claim Entitlements." Navigate to the Equipment section, then switch to the right tab to find the One-Item Permit. Subsequent permits allow equipping up to four Combat Items.

These permits become available as you progress, typically by CODE level 3. Each permit unlocks after purchasing the previous one. Equipping a Combat Item uses your entire stack; equipping a Frag Grenade, for example, will consume all available grenades at the mission's start.

Your Accessory slot can also equip a single Combat Item, used at your discretion.

Where To Get More Combat Items In Freedom Wars Remastered

After progressing through the early missions, you'll access The Warren hub. Zakka's store, located on the upper level, sells weapons and consumables. Select "Buy Items" to access Munitions (items that directly damage enemies) and Medical Supplies (healing, ailment cures, and ammo refills).

Combat Items are purchased individually, with bulk purchases costing significant Entitlement Points. Donating resources is only advisable if you require a large number of Medkits, for example. While Operations sometimes reward Combat Items, this isn't a reliable farming method due to the time investment and potential consumption exceeding rewards.
