How Many CODE Levels Are There in Freedom Wars Remastered?
Freedom Wars Remastered features a total of eight CODE levels. Progression is linear; you cannot regress to a lower CODE level. This is especially important in Deadly Sinner Mode. Each CODE level unlocks new Entitlements and operations.
How to Increase Your CODE Level in Freedom Wars Remastered
To check CODE upgrade requirements, interact with your Accessory in your cell and select "Check CODE Upgrade Conditions." Typically, this involves reaching specific prison sentence year milestones and unlocking certain Entitlements. This menu is accessible anytime in your cell; check it frequently to avoid wasting Entitlement Points on less crucial upgrades. Donating high-value resources and weapons often provides sufficient points for multiple Entitlements.
While fulfilling all listed conditions is necessary for CODE rank advancement, your CODE level is intrinsically linked to the main storyline. Completing main story missions and operations, alongside these conditions, is required to pass the CODE exam (a story element). Sometimes, the main story itself serves as a substitute for the CODE exam, facilitating progression to the next level.
Operations are also categorized by CODE level, indicating difficulty. Most operations are completed naturally through story progression, although some optional operations become available to assist players who might not be fully prepared for the challenges of their new CODE level.
