Mastering the Art of Wargames
The event features helpful tutorials. Here's the core gameplay:
Before each wargame, select your Combat Units (troops) and Stratagems (buffs). Units have diverse types (AoE, Flying, Ranged, Melee) with strengths and weaknesses (e.g., Melee counters Ranged). Study your opponent's lineup and adjust yours using the bottom-right effectiveness diagram. Remember, changing your lineup costs Reinforcement Points, so choose wisely.
Unit types explained:
- Melee: High damage absorption, slow speed.
- Ranged: Long-range attacks, low health.
- AoE DMG: Damages groups of units.
- Flying: Avoids ground attacks, immune to certain damage types.
