Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium Global Won’t Support Cross-Region Play

Girls' Frontline 2: Exilium is launching globally soon! MICA Team (Sunborn Network) recently shared exciting updates in a new Q&A video, addressing player questions about the upcoming RPG.

Server and Launch Details

The global release will utilize two server platforms: Darkwinter (Sunborn subsidiary) and Haoplay. While both offer identical game content, they are separate and players cannot transfer between them. Darkwinter will have its own PC launcher, whereas the Haoplay version will be available on Steam.

The global launch will not mirror the Chinese version's initial events. To ensure a polished narrative, MICA Team is strategically omitting some early events requiring further story development, similar to Azur Lane Global's launch strategy. The global server will begin with the "Sojourners of the Glass Island" event, providing the complete, two-part story experience from the start. Any omitted events may be added later.

Returning Favorites and Potential Crossovers

The popular Groza "Sangria Succulent" skin is making a comeback! More classic skins are also planned based on player feedback. MICA Team hinted at potential crossovers with titles like Neural Cloud and Gundam.
