Mastering Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium: A Comprehensive Progression Guide

Developed by Mica and Sunborn, Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium builds upon its popular predecessor. While initially daunting, this guide streamlines your progression.

Table of Contents

  • Rerolling for Optimal Starts
  • Prioritizing Story Campaign Missions
  • Strategic Summoning Practices
  • Limit Breaking and Character Leveling
  • Leveraging Event Missions
  • Utilizing the Dispatch Room and Affinity System
  • Conquering Boss Fights and Combat Exercises
  • Tackling Hard Mode Campaign Missions

Prioritize Early Game Objectives

Your primary objective is rapid story campaign completion to reach Commander level 30. This unlocks crucial features like PvP and Boss Fights, offering substantial rewards. This guide details the path to level 30 and efficient stamina management.

Rerolling for Advantage (F2P)

Free-to-play players should strongly consider rerolling for a superior starting lineup. Aim for Suomi (rate-up character) and either Qiongjiu or Tololo (standard or beginner's banner). This powerful combination significantly boosts early progress.

Conquer the Story Campaign

Focus relentlessly on story missions to level your account. Side battles are secondary; prioritize campaign missions until Commander level progression necessitates a shift in strategy.

Summoning Strategies

Conserve Collapse Pieces exclusively for rate-up banners. If you missed Suomi, dedicate all resources to her banner. Use standard summon tickets (not Collapse Pieces) on the standard banner to acquire additional SSR characters.

Leveling and Limit Breaking

Character levels are linked to your Commander level. Upon reaching level 20, gather Stock Bars (via Supply Missions) to break the level limit. Concentrate on a core team of four Dolls, ideally including Suomi, Qiongjiu/Tololo, Sharkry, and Ksenia (replace Ksenia with Tololo if available).

Event Missions: A Resource Bonanza

At level 20, participate in limited-time event missions. Complete all Normal missions, then prioritize at least one Hard mission daily (three attempts available). Utilize event currency to maximize rewards from the event shop (summon tickets, Collapse Pieces, SR characters, weapons, etc.).

Dispatch Room and Affinity: Idle Gains

Utilize the Dormitory's gift system to increase Doll affinity. This unlocks Dispatch missions, providing passive resource acquisition, Wish Coins (for a separate gacha system, potentially yielding Perithya), summon tickets, and other valuable items.

Boss Fights and Combat Exercises

Master Boss Fights (a turn-based scoring mode) using a team comprising Qiongjiu, Suomi, Ksenia, and Sharkry. Combat Exercise (PvP) offers points without penalty for defensive losses. Use a weak defense to allow others to farm points while targeting easy opponents for your own gains.

Hard Mode and Side Battles: Advanced Challenges

After clearing Normal mode, tackle Hard mode and side battles for additional Collapse Pieces and summon tickets. These missions don't provide Commander experience but offer valuable resources.

This comprehensive guide provides a solid foundation for your Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium journey. Consult additional resources for further tips and strategies.
