Honkai Impact 3rd's v8.0 update, In Search of the Sun, arrives January 9th! This update introduces Durandal's brand-new battlesuit, Reign Solaris, along with exciting new events and story content.
Durandal's Reign Solaris Battlesuit:
Durandal's new battlesuit, Reign Solaris, is an IMG-type Physical DMG dealer boasting two distinct forms: Rampager and Skyrider. In Rampager mode, she unleashes devastating javelin attacks. Switching to Skyrider mode, she utilizes a hoverboard for lightning-fast combos. Her ultimate involves a sky-high launch, followed by a powerful javelin strike.
New Gear and Stigmas:
Reign Solaris receives dedicated weaponry: the Valorous Effulgence weapon and its PRI-ARM upgrade, New Voyage. These enhance QTEs and provide additional javelins. A new stigma set, Illuminating the Universe, highlights Durandal's parallel universe adventures, featuring themes like soccer, bands, and skateboarding.

Chapter VII, Part 2: Bouquets of Unfulfilled Wishes, continues the Ten Shus War narrative on Mars. Dreamseeker and her team delve deeper into Coralie's fate and encounter a connection to the mysterious eye in Helia's mind.
New Cube Game and Countdown Event:
A new cube puzzle game features Vita and young Durandal, tackling corrupted data. Rewards include 60 million Crystals, Source Prisms, and more. The Countdown: To Sweet Dreams event offers comedic encounters with familiar characters like Mei, Theresa, Fu Hua, and the Herrscher of Sentience, alongside Griseo, Carole, and Vita. This event includes a boss fight involving dodging falling drumsticks and commanding followers in battles, culminating in rewards such as Emblems, Crystals, Source Prisms, and Senadina's new outfit, Steering Inequations.
