Conquer Kupolovrax in Project Tower: A Comprehensive Guide
Kupolovrax, a formidable boss in Project Tower, presents a significant challenge due to its projectile-based attacks. This guide outlines effective strategies to overcome this enemy. While targeting its illuminated segments seems intuitive, damage is also inflicted by shots hitting its carapace.
Phase 1
In the initial phase, Kupolovrax remains grounded. Maintain distance, consistently fire, and employ these evasion tactics:
- Orb Ring Fall: As orb rings descend from the platform's edge, look up and execute a dodge roll just before impact.
- Orb Scattershot Fall: This scattershot attack is easier to evade. Strafe while looking up to navigate the falling orbs; a dodge roll provides additional safety.
- Orb Line Push: This is the most challenging Phase 1 attack. Effectively evade by waiting for the first line, performing a forward dodge roll, and immediately dashing forward.
- Stomp: Kupolovrax's stomp generates a shockwave. Simply jump over it while continuing your attack.
Phase 2
Kupolovrax takes flight around 66% health. Continue maintaining distance and firing while using these avoidance techniques:
- Orb Scattershot Fall: The slow descent of the orbs allows for easy evasion by observing their trajectory and strafing.
- Orb Ring Push: Hold your position until imminent impact, then dodge roll left or right.
- Orb Line Push: Similar to Phase 1, wait for the first line, dodge roll forward, and immediately dash forward. Alternatively, dodge roll left or right, then dash in the opposite direction.
Phase 3
Triggered at approximately 33% health, Phase 3 resembles Phase 2, but with a modified attack:
- Modified Orb Ring Push: This three-part attack consists of converging rings, followed by two quick ring pushes, and finally, falling orb rings. Dodge roll left just before the initial rings, immediately dash right to avoid the quick pushes, and walk forward to clear the falling rings.
