Letterlike's roguelike nature ensures each playthrough offers a fresh challenge with procedurally generated letter sets and obstacles. The possibilities are endless, leading to countless victories.
Each game starts with a letter selection. Your mission: create meaningful words, accumulate points, and conquer levels. Each level consists of three rounds.
To progress, you must achieve a target score by forming high-scoring words, reminiscent of Scrabble. However, you only have five attempts (lives) per round – strategize carefully!
Facing a less-than-ideal letter combination? Don't despair! You can discard letters, but this option is limited, so choose wisely.
A handy rearrange mode allows you to drag, drop, and shuffle letters to optimize your word creation.
Letterlike adds a twist in the final round of each level: some letters become useless, yielding zero points.
Earned points and rewards unlock various power-ups to enhance your gameplay. Some buffs are automatic, while others require reaching specific levels. Collected gems unlock powerful upgrades, simplifying future runs.
