Marvel Rivals Updates
Kirisaki-Themed Skins: Loki’s Shin Sagi-Shi and Hela’s Yami no Karasu
On April 21, NetEase revealed via Marvel Rivals’ official Twitter (X) account the arrival of two highly anticipated character skins—Loki as Shin Sagi-Shi and Hela as Yami no Karasu. Both designs are deeply rooted in the aesthetic of Marvel’s Kirisaki Mountains from the Demon Days comic series, which reinterprets classic Marvel heroes and villains within a traditional Japanese mythological setting.
This isn’t the first time Marvel Rivals has embraced the Kirisaki theme. Previously, fans were introduced to Peni Parker’s Yatsukahagi skin, and based on recent social media teasers, more themed content is expected in the future. The new Loki and Hela skins will be available starting April 25 at 2:00 UTC. While pricing details have not yet been officially confirmed, players can anticipate that each skin will come bundled with unique emotes, stickers, and other cosmetic enhancements.
In celebration of this release, the development team launched Art Vision Vol. 01, a behind-the-scenes video series showcasing the creative journey behind the game’s visual design. Marvel Rivals Art Director Dino, along with key members of the art team, shares insights into the inspirations and artistic foundations that shape the world of Marvel Rivals. From concept sketches to final animations, the series offers a rare glimpse into the meticulous process of bringing these legendary characters to life.
