In the Marvel Rivals files, dataminers have found a fight with a kraken and a new mode

Marvel Rivals' upcoming update hints at a PvE mode featuring a kraken boss, discovered by dataminer X0X_Leaks. While the kraken model boasts animations, high-resolution textures are absent. X0X_Leaks showcased a size comparison using in-game parameters to illustrate its potential appearance.

Separately, Marvel Rivals announced a Spring Festival event commencing this Thursday. This event introduces a unique 3v3 game mode, "Clash of Dancing Lions," awarding players a free Star-Lord costume. The mode involves scoring a ball into the opposing team's goal, bearing resemblance to Overwatch's Lucioball and Rocket League.

This similarity is noteworthy, as Marvel Rivals seeks to establish its own identity amidst comparisons to Overwatch. While the Spring Festival event's core gameplay mirrors Overwatch's initial event, Marvel Rivals distinguishes itself with a prominent Chinese cultural theme, contrasting with Overwatch's Olympic Games aesthetic.
