Marvel Rivals Showcases Its Season 1 Darkhold Battle Pass

Marvel Rivals Season 1: Eternal Night Falls – A Deep Dive into the Darkhold Battle Pass

Get ready for Marvel Rivals Season 1, launching January 10th at 1 AM PST! NetEase Games has unveiled the Darkhold battle pass, promising a thrilling season dominated by Dracula and featuring a stellar cast of heroes battling against his sinister forces. Doctor Strange finds himself ensnared, leaving the Fantastic Four to lead the resistance.

This season's battle pass, priced at 990 Lattice (approximately $10), offers a treasure trove of rewards. Complete the pass to earn 600 Lattice and 600 Units – currency usable for future cosmetic purchases or battle passes. The pass boasts 10 exclusive skins, plus sprays, nameplates, emotes, and MVP animations. A key advantage: unfinished passes don't expire, allowing completion at your own pace.

The trailer showcases stunning new skins: Magneto as King Magnus (House of M inspired), Rocket Raccoon with a Western flair, a medieval Iron Man reminiscent of Dark Souls, Peni Parker in a vibrant blue and white suit, and Namor in a striking green and gold outfit.

Season 1 Battle Pass Skins:

  • Loki – All-Butcher
  • Moon Knight – Blood Moon Knight
  • Rocket Raccoon – Bounty Hunter
  • Peni Parker – Blue Tarantula
  • Magneto – King Magnus
  • Namor – Savage Sub-Mariner
  • Iron Man – Blood Edge Armor
  • Adam Warlock – Blood Soul
  • Scarlet Witch – Emporium Matron
  • Wolverine – Blood Berserker

The season's aesthetic is undeniably dark, mirroring the ominous blood moon hanging over a gothic New York City. Wolverine's skin evokes Van Helsing, Loki's All-Butcher costume is menacing, and Moon Knight sports a stark black and white ensemble. Scarlet Witch's classic red and purple dress and Adam Warlock's golden armor with a crimson cape complete the darkly captivating lineup.

While excitement is high, some fans express surprise at the absence of Fantastic Four skins within the battle pass. Invisible Woman and Mister Fantastic debut in Season 1, but their cosmetics will be available separately in the in-game shop. Despite this, anticipation remains strong for this content-packed hero shooter update.
