Understanding the Core Gameplay of Monmate Master: Idle Adventure
At its heart, Monmate Master: Idle Adventure is an idle game that presents players with strategic choices. Combat is designed to be accessible and operates in a turn-based format. Your first step is to build a formation, where you place your main character alongside five other Monmates. Monmates are combat monsters, distinct from your main character, and together you’ll shape your squad like a true RPG—training and strengthening both your hero and your Monmates.
Additionally, all players receive a series of main quests that serve as a clear guide through the early game. These quests, highlighted in yellow on the bottom left of the screen, not only show you what to do next but also provide generous rewards to speed up your progress. New players should prioritize completing these tasks. As you advance through the main story chapters, you’ll gradually unlock auto-battle and 2-3x battle speed options.
Bread Chest – Open this chest to gain chest experience, chest points, bread, and a variety of materials. As the chest's reward level rises, so does the chance of obtaining higher-quality items. After opening 20 bread chests, players receive one free Promotion Chest. Promotion Chest – This chest rewards players with chest experience, chest points, promotion stones, and bread. Higher reward levels improve the odds of better loot. Gear Chest – Opening this chest yields chest experience, chest points, hero gear, and bread. Better chest levels increase the likelihood of superior rewards. Skill Chest – Unlock this chest for chest experience, chest points, skills, and bread. As the reward level goes up, so does the probability of high-quality items.
