The game is set to launch on August 28, 2025, a date that had been leaked earlier through the PlayStation Store, which also prematurely released the trailer.
Adding to the excitement, an Ape Escape collaboration was teased, hinting at potential crossovers. A message reading “And More” suggests that fans can expect additional surprises. This initial tease seems to nod to the original Metal Gear Solid 3, which included a memorable monkey minigame where Snake utilized stun grenades and his ‘Monkey Shaker’ gun to subdue the animals.
While Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater introduces a new first-person perspective, it remains a faithful recreation of the original.
