Netflix has officially announced that Squid Game Season 3 will premiere on June 27, 2025. To build anticipation, the streaming giant has unveiled a new poster and several captivating images that offer fans "a tantalizing glimpse into the fate of the surviving players."
Continuing directly from the gripping conclusion of Season 2, Season 3 delves deeper into the choices faced by Gi-hun (played by Lee Jung-jae) as he navigates through "overwhelming despair." Meanwhile, the Front Man (Lee Byung-hun) meticulously plans his next move. As the stakes rise, the decisions made by the surviving players lead to increasingly dire consequences with each round of the deadly games. Netflix promises that this season will "push the limits of suspense and drama, keeping viewers glued to the action."

"Gone is the rainbow-hued track of Season 2’s six-legged pentathlon; in its place, a vividly swirling flower-pattern floor ominously foreshadows the cutthroat finale to come," Netflix described. The poster also includes the sinister silhouettes of Young-hee and her companion Cheol-su, which were first hinted at in the post-credit scene of the previous season, suggesting even more brutal games on the horizon.
