Nintendo has reconfirmed several first-party titles set to launch in 2025, as detailed in their latest financial report. The excitement kicks off in the first quarter with Donkey Kong Country Returns HD hitting the shelves on January 16th, followed by Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition on March 20th. Fans can also look forward to Pokémon Legends: Z-A and Metroid Prime 4: Beyond later in the year, though specific release dates for these titles are yet to be announced.
While no additional projects have been disclosed, the much-anticipated Nintendo Direct is scheduled to go live on April 2nd, 2025. Nintendo Switch 2 Experience Ahead Of Launch
The eagerly awaited Nintendo Switch 2 is also slated for release in 2025, with the financial report suggesting a launch in the latter half of the year. To build anticipation, Nintendo will host live in-person Nintendo Switch 2 Experience events at 15 global locations, including New York, Tokyo, and Amsterdam, starting in April. While registrations for most locations are now closed, interested fans can join waitlists for a chance to secure tickets. For the Japan leg of the tour, ticket applications are open until February 20th JST.

Super Nintendo World Expands To Orlando, Florida
In a move to broaden the reach of their IPs, Nintendo is set to open a new Super Nintendo World theme park in the United States. Scheduled to open on May 22nd, 2025, at Universal Orlando Resort's Universal Epic Universe in Orlando, Florida, this marks the second Super Nintendo World location in the country, following its debut at Universal Studios Hollywood in February 2023. The Orlando park will feature the vibrant landscapes of Super Mario Land and the lush tropical setting of Donkey Kong Country right from its opening day.
Additionally, Nintendo plans to launch Super Nintendo World at Universal Studios Singapore in 2025, though further details on this project are yet to be announced.
