Game studio Noodlecake has officially launched Super Flappy Golf on Android, marking its first original release since Golf Blitz in 2019. Following a successful soft launch across Australia, New Zealand, Canada, and the Philippines in February 2025, the game is now available worldwide.
A Decade in the Making: Super Flappy Golf Evolves
The journey began in 2015 when Noodlecake introduced Flappy Golf, a minimalist spin-off from Super Stickman Golf 2. Created during a game jam session, this casual side project stripped away power-ups and leveling systems, focusing simply on flapping through courses to collect stars.
Now, ten years later, the franchise returns with Super Flappy Golf - a fully reimagined third installment that expands on the original's quirky premise with exciting new mechanics.
Master New Flight Mechanics in Competitive Multiplayer
Super Flappy Golf launches with 30 varied courses while maintaining the series' signature two-button controls. However, players will discover refined gameplay with new glide and dive mechanics that add strategic depth to navigation. Precise timing becomes crucial when tackling difficult angles or optimizing flap counts.
Engage in Fast-Paced Multiplayer Challenges
The game introduces an advanced multiplayer system featuring:
- Online matchmaking with global opponents
- New "Lowest Flaps" competitive mode
- 8-player real-time races to the finish
- Detailed player profiles tracking performance stats
Customizable Avatars with Millions of Combinations
Players can collect and combine eggs, traits, and Birdie variants, creating unique characters. With different rarities interacting in unpredictable ways, the system generates countless amusing and sometimes downright bizarre character combinations.
Super Flappy Golf is now available as a free-to-play title on the Google Play Store. For more mobile gaming news, check out our coverage of Pikmin Bloom's 2022 Summer Memories event and the upcoming 2023 Memories update.
