Get ready for a stylish twist in the world of Pokemon GO as Niantic unveils the Fashion Week: Taken Over event, set to kick off on January 15, 2025. This event will not only introduce the fashionable duo of Shroodle and its evolution, Grafaiai, but also bring a slew of exciting bonuses and encounters for players to dive into.
Shroodle, a unique Poison/Normal-type from the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet games, sports an adorably oversized head and eyes that make up half its body. At level 28, this quirky creature evolves into Grafaiai, a lemur-like primate with distinctive large eyes and three-fingered hands. Both have appeared in the Pokemon Horizons series and are now ready to strut their stuff in Pokemon GO.
During the Fashion Week: Taken Over event, which runs from January 15 at 12 am to January 19 at 8 pm local time, Shroodle will be hatchable from 12 km eggs. Players can then evolve Shroodle into Grafaiai using 50 Shroodle Candy. The event is packed with opportunities for trainers, including increased appearances of Team GO Rocket at PokeStops and in balloons, and the chance to help Shadow Pokemon forget the Charged Attack Frustration with a Charged TM. Snap a photo during the event, and you might just encounter a Croagunk decked out in a Fashion Week outfit.
