Players Can Sign Up for Elden Ring Nightreign Network Test Tomorrow

Summary

  • Registration for the first Elden Ring Nightreign network test begins January 10th.
  • The beta is limited to PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.
  • The test is scheduled for February 2025.

Registration for the Elden Ring Nightreign network test opens January 10th. However, this initial test will only be available on a limited number of platforms.

Announced at The Game Awards 2024, Elden Ring Nightreign is a co-op Soulsborne experience set in The Lands Between, designed for three-player parties. Targeting a 2025 release, the game will undergo at least one network test. Registration opens Friday, January 10th, via the official website. While the number of available spots isn't specified, it's likely to be limited.

How To Sign Up For the Elden Ring Nightreign Network Test

  1. Visit the official Elden Ring Nightreign network test website starting January 10th.
  2. Register, specifying your preferred platform (PS5 or Xbox Series X/S).
  3. Await your confirmation email.
  4. Participate in the test during February 2025.

Elden Ring Nightreign Network Test: Platform Limitations

Those accepted will receive confirmation emails by February 2025, the planned test period. Specific dates will be announced soon. Importantly, this test is exclusively for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. This means less than half of the game's target platforms (PS4, Xbox One, and PC are also planned) will be included. Cross-platform multiplayer is not supported, limiting gameplay to players on the same console.

While unconfirmed, progress during the network test likely won't carry over to the final game. Further betas are possible, though unannounced.

Beyond the lack of cross-platform play, party size is also limited. Elden Ring Nightreign supports solo play and three-player parties only; duo play is not supported. Whether the network test will impose additional limitations remains unclear.
