Elden Ring Nightreign Network Test: Platform Limitations
Those accepted will receive confirmation emails by February 2025, the planned test period. Specific dates will be announced soon. Importantly, this test is exclusively for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. This means less than half of the game's target platforms (PS4, Xbox One, and PC are also planned) will be included. Cross-platform multiplayer is not supported, limiting gameplay to players on the same console.
While unconfirmed, progress during the network test likely won't carry over to the final game. Further betas are possible, though unannounced.
Beyond the lack of cross-platform play, party size is also limited. Elden Ring Nightreign supports solo play and three-player parties only; duo play is not supported. Whether the network test will impose additional limitations remains unclear.
