Yes, Pokémon TCG Pocket is totally free to start. From the get-go, you get to open two booster packs daily. Each booster pack has a wonder pick feature where you might get lucky enough to pick a card from packs opened by other players across the globe.
Pokémon TCG Pocket has a full customization setup where you can ‘deck’ up your decks and collections with binders and display boards. There are playmats, card sleeves and coins to make your collection look unique and more fun.
The battles are quick, and there’s even an auto-battle feature. And for any newcomers or casual players, the devs have introduced rental decks and auto-build options to help you get the hang of the game fast.

Called Genetic Apex, it highlights some of the original Kanto region Pokémon. This classic lineup expansion is kind of a welcome throwback. Also, starting in November, there’ll be a digital pack opening feature on YouTube. It’ll let you relive the booster pack in video form too.
