Pokémon TCG Pocket Lapras EX Drop Event Start and End Dates

The Lapras EX drop event runs from November 5th to November 18th, 12:59 a.m. Eastern Time in Pokémon TCG Pocket. During this period, participate in special event battles for a chance to win new card variants and the coveted Lapras EX. Additional rewards include Pack Hourglasses, boosting your booster pack acquisition.

How to Start the Lapras EX Event

Ensure your Pokémon TCG Pocket app is updated. Navigate to the Battles tab, select Solo, and choose "Lapras EX Drop Event." Four AI battles await, each using a Lapras EX deck. Earn first-clear rewards and additional chance rewards through repeated battles.

Note: While all battles offer Promo Packs as a chance reward, only the Expert battle guarantees one. All decks are Water-type; consider using a meta Pikachu EX deck for efficient wins.

How to Use Event Hourglasses

Event stamina, refreshing every 12 hours (max 5), is consumed per battle. Earned Event Hourglasses replenish this stamina.

Best Decks and Strategies

A Pikachu EX deck is highly effective. Suggested decklist: Pikachu EX x2, Zapdos EX x2, Voltorb x2, Electrode x2, Blitzle x2, Zebstrika x2, Giovanni x2, Sabrina x2, X Speed x2, Professor’s Research x2. Lapras EX deck Pokémon take 20 extra damage from Lightning attacks. For less rare options, substitute Helioptile/Heliolisk or Magnemite/Magneton.

All Promo Pack Rewards

Promo Packs contain one card each: Mankey, Pikachu, Clefairy, Butterfree, and Lapras EX (a new variant). Lapras EX stats: 140 HP, Bubble Drain (2 Water Energy, 1 Colorless Energy): 80 damage, heals 20 damage. Retreat Cost: 3.
