It’s been a thrilling year since Bluepoch Games launched their unique 20th Century time-travel RPG, *Reverse: 1999*. Now, the game is celebrating its First Anniversary with the exciting Version 1.9 update titled ‘Vereinsamt,’ which means "lonely" in German.
Reverse: 1999 First Anniversary Rewards
To mark this special occasion, players can claim Semmelweis, a powerful 6-star character, completely free of charge. Simply log in during the event period to receive Semmelweis along with 30 free pulls. Another highlight is Lucy, a 6-star DPS character with a striking robot design inspired by the iconic Metropolis film. Although she appears robotic, Lucy is an Awakened arcanist with a deep connection to the Watt steam engine prototype, driven by her obsession to advance scientific development. Lucy is available in the limited-time ‘Thoughts in Cylinder’ banner.

New Game Modes and Collaborations
The First Anniversary update introduces a thrilling new rogue-like mode called ‘A Series of Dusks,’ where you can earn Lorelei, a new 5-star character, along with a plethora of rewards. Exciting collaborations are also on the horizon, with Discovery and KOI joining forces with *Reverse: 1999*. Discovery will introduce new garments for Tooth Fairy and Getian, while KOI will launch a special collaboration starting in October, featuring limited-edition merchandise.
Alongside the new characters, Version 1.9 brings the game's first unique garment for Regulus, titled ‘Take Off! To the Future.’ This new look comes with enhanced Ultimates and other features. Other characters like Jessica, Voyager, and Sonetto are also set to receive fresh new garments.
