Vampire Survivors has just released a thrilling free DLC today, the Emerald Diorama, which brings an exciting crossover with Square Enix's renowned fantasy RPG series, SaGa. This update is the game's most significant to date, introducing JRPG elements into the beloved survival game.
Emerald Diorama Infuses JRPG Elements into Vampire Survivors
The Emerald Diorama DLC introduces a new stage designed like a mini world map, providing a world-hopping experience. Players can explore this new environment with over a dozen new characters, including puppeteers and singers of cursed melodies.
The update enriches the arsenal with 16+ new weapons and introduces the innovative Glimmer system, allowing players to randomly acquire new skills during their runs. Additionally, the soundtrack expands with nine new music tracks to enhance the gaming atmosphere.
To unlock the Emerald Diorama, players should head to Moongolow and engage with a new merchant to purchase the Emerald Disk for 50,000 gold. From there, the content can be unlocked progressively.
A standout feature of the DLC is the introduction of character parties, enabling players to form their mini squads for a more dynamic gameplay experience. You can get a sneak peek of what's in store with the launch trailer below.
Moreover, the DLC adds two new Adventures, which are mini-campaigns each consisting of six chapters. "To End an Ice Age" complements the base game, while "Tides of the Foscari" extends the new DLC's content.
Another Free Update: The Coop
Alongside the Emerald Diorama, Vampire Survivors received another free update titled The Coop, centered around chickens. It introduces a new character, Gazebo, along with a new weapon and a relic that accelerates gameplay.
Players can unlock numerous achievements and access Darkana. Collecting 500 lifetime floor chickens unlocks The Coop update's full potential. A useful tip for players: refrain from killing anything for the first minute of play in The Coop to unlock the Gaze of Gaea. Evolving it with Parm Aegis will further unlock Gazebo.
You can download Vampire Survivors from the Google Play Store to enjoy the free DLC Emerald Diorama and the free update The Coop. The game now supports cross-platform saving, allowing you to continue your progress across PC, Xbox, Android, and iOS.
