Gravity Co. has just released their latest Android game, Shambles: Sons of Apocalypse, a deckbuilding roguelike RPG with a gripping premise. In this game, you step into the shoes of an explorer emerging from a bunker 500 years after humanity's devastating self-destruction in a massive war.
The World Has Completely Changed… in the Game
Your mission is to resurrect civilization from the ashes. As one of the chosen explorers from the bunker, you venture into the chaotic new world named Eustea, which is divided into over 100 zones, each brimming with unique stories and intriguing historical fragments.
Despite the apocalypse, pockets of humanity have persevered across the continent, though civilization bears little resemblance to its former self. Some factions are aggressively vying for control, while others are simply struggling to survive.
Take a closer look at Shambles: Sons of Apocalypse in the video below.
Shambles: Sons of Apocalypse Is a Text-Based RPG with Roguelike Deckbuilding
In Shambles: Sons of Apocalypse, every decision you make shapes the narrative. You'll face pivotal crossroads where you must choose to engage in combat, negotiate, or retreat. Each choice leads to a unique path, ensuring your gameplay experience is distinct from others.
The game offers multiple endings. Your actions could lead to saving a community, causing its downfall, or even your own demise without leaving a trace. The butterfly effect is evident here, where even minor decisions can have significant repercussions.
The combat system is centered around constructing your deck from over 300 cards, 200 skills, and a wide array of equipment. You can opt for a soldier's role equipped with modern weapons or embrace the life of a medieval knight.
As you explore, you'll document your findings in a pictorial log, capturing encounters with strange creatures, ancient artifacts, and oddly preserved books. Shambles: Sons of Apocalypse is now available on Android, and you can download it from the Google Play Store for $6.99.
