STALKER 2 PC System Requirements Are Now More Demanding

STALKER 2's demanding PC system requirements revealed: Prepare for intense performance needs!

With the November 20th release date fast approaching, the final PC system requirements for STALKER 2 have been unveiled, revealing a significant hardware demand, even at minimum settings. High-end rigs are essential for 4K gameplay and high frame rates.

The updated specifications highlight the game's intensity:

Achieving smooth 4K gameplay at high frame rates will require a powerful system. The "epic" settings are particularly demanding, potentially surpassing even Crysis' notorious performance requirements. Storage needs have also increased from 150GB to 160GB; an SSD is strongly recommended for optimal loading times.

Nvidia DLSS and AMD FSR upscaling will be supported to improve visual fidelity without sacrificing performance. While the specific FSR version is yet to be confirmed, software ray tracing is confirmed. Hardware ray tracing, however, remains unlikely for launch, according to Lead Producer Slava Lukyanenka.
