Sword of Convallaria's Night Crimson Update: New Story, Characters, and Events!
XD Inc. has unleashed the Night Crimson update for its popular tactical RPG, Sword of Convallaria. Millions have already downloaded the game since its July launch, and this expansion delivers a wealth of new content, including story advancements, exciting events, and valuable rewards.
Continuing the Spiral of Destinies campaign, the update introduces a captivating investigative clue wall mechanic to the Waverun City storyline. This innovative gameplay blends detective work with tactical combat, requiring strategic choices to unravel mysteries under the guidance of Safiyyah, the Mobile Squad's leader.
Night Crimson also unveils SP Characters – alternate versions of existing characters boasting unique appearances and combat skills. SP Rawiyah arrives January 3rd, followed by SP Taair on January 17th. Unlocking SP forms for characters you already own grants an exclusive SP skill, significantly boosting the combat prowess of both the original and SP versions.
The Night Crimson events, running since December 20th, offer generous rewards. Complete these events to earn Secret Fates, legendary trinkets, and exclusive avatar frames. The Waverun Tournament, commencing January 3rd, allows you to exchange event points for special items, providing a significant advantage in future battles.
Beyond the gameplay additions, the update offers a behind-the-scenes look at Sword of Convallaria's future development, including developer messages and a video message from Safiyyah's Japanese voice actress. A new theme song, "Never Apart," is also included, featuring a Japanese version performed by Hikasa Yoko.
