"Unlock All Secret Achievements in Monster Hunter Wilds"

For all the completionists and trophy hunters out there, you’ll be thrilled to discover the challenging achievements awaiting you in *Monster Hunter Wilds*. We're here to guide you through unlocking all the hidden achievements in the game, ensuring you can proudly showcase your skills.

All Hidden and Secret Achievements in Monster Hunter Wilds

In *Monster Hunter Wilds*, there are 12 secret achievements to conquer. Seven of these are linked to the main story progression, which you'll naturally unlock as you advance through the game. The remaining five are tied to optional objectives, detailed below:

  • I Caught a Shooting Star!: Caught a creature in the desert that shines like a shooting star.
  • A Prize Held High: Caught a creature that bears an Ancient Wyvern Coin.
  • A Legacy Restored: Obtained an Artian Weapon of Rarity 8.
  • Seasoned Hunter: Hunted 50 Tempered monsters.
  • Top of the Food Chain: Hunted 50 Apex Predators.

Some of these achievements are straightforward, while others might require a bit more effort. Let’s dive into how to unlock each one:

I Caught a Shooting Star!

To unlock this achievement, head to Zone 11 of the Windward Plains at night. Equip some screamer pods and keep an eye out for a Baunos flying near the gathering spots. When you spot one, use the screamer pods to stun it, then swiftly catch it with your Capture Net.

A Prize Held High

You can achieve this in various maps, but focus on areas with tight corners and dead ends. Specifically, go to Zone 6 of the Scarlet Forest and locate the small puddle of water. Use your Capture Net to catch the small golden crab. Alma's remarks about a creature holding something can often guide you to the right target.

A Legacy Restored

Once you reach High Rank missions, start crafting Artian gear. To obtain Rarity 8 weapons and materials, you'll need to hunt Tempered monsters equipped with Rarity 7 gear.

Seasoned Hunter

Be sure not to confuse Tempered monsters with Frenzied monsters; the former will appear outlined in purple on your minimap, while the latter are outlined in red. Start hunting or capturing Tempered monsters from Chapter 4 onwards, as you delve into High Rank content, to progress toward this achievement.

Top of the Food Chain

This achievement involves hunting 50 Apex Predators. Only the following monsters count toward this goal:

  • Rey
  • Dau
  • Uth
  • Duna
  • Nu
  • Udra
  • Jin
  • Dahaad

With these tips, you're well on your way to unlocking all the hidden achievements in *Monster Hunter Wilds*. For more strategies and insights, be sure to visit The Escapist, where you can find additional tips, including the best gathering set to use in the game.
