Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 Developer Updates
Paradox Focusing On Bug Fixing, Stability, and Performance
Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2's release has been pushed back to October 2025. The official announcement was shared via the game's Twitter (X) account on March 26, accompanied by a video update.
In the video, Executive Producer Marco Behrmann provided insights into the game's current development status. He stated, "The status of the game right now is that the game is done. We are currently working on bug fixing, stability, and performance so we can deliver the best experience to you guys once it releases."
Paradox has been keeping fans in the loop with regular Dev Diaries, detailing aspects like characters, stories, and mechanics. However, to concentrate fully on enhancing the game, all Dev Diaries will be paused until further notice.
First Revealed in 2019
Originally unveiled in March 2019, Bloodlines 2 was initially set for a March 2020 launch, developed by Hardsuit Labs. However, the release was first postponed to an unspecified date in 2020, and then to 2021. During this period, several key team members departed the project.
In a significant shift, Paradox Interactive announced in February 2021 that Hardsuit Labs would no longer be involved, and The Chinese Room took over development. Subsequent target dates for release shifted from late 2024, to the first half of 2025, and now to late 2025.
Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 is now scheduled for release in October 2025 across PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Stay updated with the latest developments by following our coverage below!
