As we discussed yesterday with Sky: Children of the Light's Lunar New Year-themed event, January has been brightened by the excitement surrounding this calendar event. This festive spirit extends even into the intense world of naval combat, as World of Warships Legends introduces its Sun Wukong-themed event.
Sun Wukong, the legendary monkey king from the iconic novel Journey to the West, takes center stage in this celebration. It's no wonder that this beloved character is the star of World of Warships Legends' Lunar New Year festivities.
In addition to other new content in this update, such as a campaign for the French Tier VII Premium battleship Picardie, the Lunar New Year event introduces Sun Wukong as a commander guise available for all nations. Alongside him, players can enjoy his Pan-Asian Tier VII Premium cruiser Wukong, as well as various skins inspired by other characters from the novels.
Prosperity comes knockingBut the excitement doesn't stop there! World of Warships Legends is also bringing back previous Lunar New Year content. Look forward to the return of the Celestial Guardian commander guise, complete with a daily bonus, and several Pan-Asian and Japanese ships adorned in ornate skins. Keep an eye out for Lunar Year '25 crates, available in the store and in-game, to secure these rewards, including an exclusive Japanese Tier VI Premium cruiser Tokachi.
