Warzone Glitch: Old Camos on Black Ops 6 Guns

Summary

  • A new glitch in Call of Duty: Warzone allows players to use Modern Warfare 3 (MW3) camos on Black Ops 6 (BO6) weapons.
  • This glitch requires a friend's help and specific steps in a private match of Warzone.
  • It's an unofficial method and may be patched in future updates.

A Call of Duty: Warzone player has uncovered an exciting new glitch that lets players apply camos from 2023's Modern Warfare 3 onto weapons from Black Ops 6, sparking interest among the community. Many believe this feature should be standard, as MW3 weapons remain usable in Warzone, yet the meta has shifted towards BO6 weapons, leaving MW3 camos unused.

In Black Ops 6, players are once again grinding to unlock the coveted mastery camos, which can be earned through in-game challenges without additional purchases. After achieving one hundred headshots across various weapons and earning gold, diamond, and dark spine camos, players can finally unlock dark matter. However, for those who already unlocked these camos in MW3, they've become obsolete in Warzone since the release of BO6. This new glitch, however, offers a solution.

Call of Duty: Warzone Player Discovers New Camo Glitch

Players who have earned the many weapon camos in Modern Warfare 3 can now equip them on Black Ops 6 weapons in Warzone, thanks to this glitch. Discovered by Twitter user BSPGamin and reported by Dexerto, this method isn't officially supported and may be patched by developers Treyarch Studios and Raven Software in future updates.

The glitch requires assistance from a friend and involves several steps in a private Warzone match. First, you'll need to start a private match, equip a BO6 weapon in the first loadout slot, and join your friend's lobby. Then, switch to an MW3 weapon in the first loadout slot and repeatedly select the camo you want to use on a BO6 weapon. While doing this, the host must switch to a private match. Next, your friend should exit the private match, and you need to go back to the weapon and spam-select the desired camo while your friend rejoins a private match. If done correctly, the MW3 camo should now be available on your BO6 weapon.

For players who prefer sticking with BO6 camos but haven't unlocked all the mastery camos yet, there's good news. Treyarch has confirmed they are working on a new challenge tracking feature for Black Ops 6. This feature, which was last seen in Modern Warfare 3 and missed in BO6, will return in a future update, making it easier for players to track their progress toward unlocking those coveted camos.
