WoW Patch 11.1 Auto-Converts Unused Bronze Celebration Tokens
Patch 11.1 of World of Warcraft will automatically convert leftover Bronze Celebration Tokens into Timewarped Badges. This conversion, at a rate of 1 Bronze Celebration Token to 20 Timewarped Badges, will occur upon a player's first login after the patch's release.
The World of Warcraft 20th-anniversary event, concluding on January 7th, offered players numerous Bronze Celebration Tokens used to purchase various items, including revamped Tier 2 sets and anniversary collectibles. Any remaining tokens will now be converted to the Timewalking currency, Timewarped Badges.
Blizzard confirmed that Bronze Celebration Tokens will not be used again, prompting this automatic conversion to prevent players from holding onto obsolete currency. This streamlined process ensures players don't retain unused, functionless tokens in their inventories.
While a precise release date for Patch 11.1 remains unannounced, February 25th is a strong contender, aligning with Blizzard's recent release schedule and considering the ongoing Plunderstorm and Turbulent Timeways events. This timing unfortunately means the conversion will likely occur after the current Turbulent Timeways event concludes.
Timewarped Badges, obtained through this conversion, can be used in future Timewalking events, with no planned removal of purchasable rewards. Players are advised to log in after Patch 11.1 launches to claim their converted Timewarped Badges.
