According to images shared by DiscussingFilm on X / Twitter, the Minecraft movie will feature a TNT box as its popcorn bucket, paired with a chicken jockey drink container. These items are exclusive to the Cinemark chain of theaters in the United States, but other theaters may have their own plans for Minecraft fans, so stay tuned.

These Minecraft-themed novelties are the latest in a trend that started with the viral R2-D2 popcorn bucket for 2019's Rise of Skywalker. The success of that bucket sparked a modern theatrical tradition that, while perhaps overdone and pricey, continues to draw audiences to the cinema. If it encourages people to enjoy the theatrical experience, it's a win in my book.
