Pokémon Go now lets you join Raids from your friend list

by Blake Mar 16,2025

Pokémon Go simplifies raiding with friends! Now, you can easily join raids directly from your friends list if you're Great Friends or higher. See what raid your friends are in and jump in to help—no invite needed! Prefer to solo? No problem—easily opt out of this feature in settings.

It's been a quiet week in the gaming world, but Pokémon Go players have a nice surprise! Niantic has implemented a small but significant update, making it much easier to coordinate raids with friends.

This minor change greatly improves the raiding experience for those with strong friendships in the game. Simply check your friends list to see who's raiding and join the fun! And for those who prefer a solo adventure, the option to disable this feature is readily available in the settings menu.
