Monpic: The Hatchling Meets A Girl, A Point-And-Click Monster Adventure, Is Launching This Fall

Get ready for a heartwarming adventure! Monpic: The Hatchling Meets a Girl (also known as Monpic – The Little Dragon and the Dragon Girl) is launching this fall 2024 on Android, iOS, Steam, and Nintendo Switch.

Created by Happy Elements and Kakalia Studio, this charming Japanese 2D adventure blends captivating storytelling with point-and-click exploration and delightful anime-style visuals.

A Closer Look at Monpic: The Hatchling Meets a Girl

Monpic unfolds in a world where humans and monsters share a complex history, sometimes clashing, sometimes cooperating. The story centers on Yuzuki, a curious girl, and Pico, a baby dragon with underdeveloped wings.

Yuzuki's adventure begins with a seemingly ordinary apple found in the forest. This "apple," however, is a rare Dragon Apple, triggering a transformation: Yuzuki starts growing dragon horns and begins changing into a dragon herself!

Dragon Apples are vital for young dragons' growth, making Pico and Yuzuki's unexpected encounter crucial. The game follows their journey as they form an unlikely bond.

Explore diverse environments, solve intriguing puzzles, and uncover the intricate relationship between humans and monsters in Monpic. The game will be available in English and Japanese.

I'm eager to see how the story unfolds and experience the gameplay. Will Yuzuki revert to her human form? We'll have to wait until fall to find out! In the meantime, visit the official website for more details.

The Play Store listing isn't live yet, but follow the game's official X (Twitter) account for the latest news.
