Become a Road Guard and help save lives!
Launched in 2016, the "Guardians of the Road - the road of all of us" project aims to raise awareness and promote careful, safe driving. Since January 1, 2023, the program has been managed by the "Safe Path" association.
Any citizen aged 18 or older can download the "Road Guards" app and begin documenting traffic violations.
Using the app is simple and quick. Activate it before you start driving. When you witness a traffic violation, trigger the reporting feature either by voice command or by pressing the Bluetooth button on your steering wheel. The app will then start recording and capturing details of the offense.
These recordings are sent to a control center staffed by volunteer controllers with extensive traffic safety experience. After review, a "letter on the way" is sent to the documented individual, including a link to the violation video. For life-threatening offenses, the report is forwarded to the police for further action.
