by Patrick May 25,2025

Get ready, fans of the Alien universe! *Alien: Rogue Incursion - Part One* is stepping up its game with the launch of the *Evolved Edition*, and you won’t need a VR headset to dive into the action. This upgraded version of the single-player action-horror game is set to hit PC and PlayStation 5 on September 30, 2025, promising "even deadlier Xenomorphs and enhanced visuals." You can start wishlisting the non-VR edition on Steam and PlayStation today.

The original version of *Alien: Rogue Incursion - Part One* debuted on PlayStation VR2 and PCVR via Steam in December 2024, followed by a release on Meta Quest 3 in February. Now, the *Evolved Edition*, developed and published by Survios, is set to bring the terrifying experience to a broader audience. The standard edition will be available for $29.99, while the Digital Deluxe edition is priced at $39.99.

Set in the gripping timeline between *Alien* and *Aliens*, *Alien: Rogue Incursion - Part One* plunges players into a mission on the planet Purdan (LV-354) in search of a lost squadmate. After an unexpected attack, players control Zula and her Synthetic companion, Davis 01, as they navigate the eerie corridors of Gemini Exoplanet Solutions' Castor's Cradle research facility. Expect intense action, menacing Xenomorphs, and a deep sense of mystery.

IGN's review of the VR version awarded it a 7/10, noting that, "*Alien: Rogue Incursion is a compelling first crack at bringing Alien to VR with lots of room to grow.*" The team behind the game will showcase the *Evolved Edition* at IGN Live next month, offering fans a sneak peek at the enhanced experience.
