Larian CEO Swen Vincke confirmed on X (formerly Twitter) that over one million mods were installed within 24 hours of Patch 7's September 5th launch. This figure was quickly surpassed, with mod.io founder Scott Reismanis reporting over 3 million installs and counting. This incredible uptake highlights the robust modding community and the game's inherent moddability.
Patch 7's impact extends beyond the mod count. It introduced significant new content, including sinister new endings, enhanced split-screen functionality, and the highly anticipated official Larian Mod Manager.
