The post initially focused on another scrapped project, "Project Dragon," which sparked Spyro speculation among fans. Kole clarified that "Project Dragon" was an entirely new IP developed with Phoenix Labs, but used the opportunity to allude to the fate of a potential Crash Bandicoot 5. He stated, "It is not Spyro, but some day folks will hear about the Crash 5 that never was and it’s gonna break hearts."
