Cyberpunk 2077 receives a significant update (2.21) from CD Projekt RED, incorporating cutting-edge NVIDIA technology and numerous bug fixes.
A key addition is DLSS 4 support, boosting frame rates significantly for GeForce RTX 50 series graphics card users, effective January 30th. DLSS 4 also enhances performance on RTX 40 series cards, generating extra frames with reduced memory consumption.
Furthermore, all GeForce RTX users can now choose between a convolutional neural network model and a new transform model for DLSS Ray Reconstruction, DLSS Super Resolution, and DLAA. The transform model delivers superior lighting, detail, and image stability.
This update also addresses several critical issues:
- Resolved glitches preventing interaction with certain vendors.
- Fixed audio problems affecting TV news program sound.
- Increased the frequency of Johnny's appearance in the passenger seat.
- Corrected a bug causing item disappearance when hiding nearby characters.
- Eliminated game freezes occurring when simultaneously entering photo mode and accessing closets/stashes.
- Enabled the inclusion of Nibbles and Adam Smasher in Photo Mode shots, even when V is in water or mid-air.
- Improved the functionality of Adam Smasher's facial expression changes.
This update promises a smoother, more visually appealing, and less buggy Cyberpunk 2077 experience for players.
