The New Denpa Men has officially arrived on Android. The game was initially released in July 2024 for the Nintendo Switch and is developed and published by Genius Sonority. However, there are several differences between the mobile and Switch editions.
Now You Can Take Your Quirky Little Denpa Crew Anywhere!
The biggest advantage of The New Denpa Men on Android is its cross-platform support. If you've already been catching and battling Denpa Men on the Switch, you can seamlessly transfer your progress and continue your journey on your mobile device.
The Android (and iOS) version introduces a new feature called QR Catch. This allows you to scan nearby QR codes to add Denpa Men to your team, replacing the standard Normal Catch method. Some features from the Switch version, such as Together Catch and Offline Catch, are not available on mobile.
Another addition to the Android version is Voucher Collection. After battles, monsters randomly drop special vouchers. Gathering these vouchers helps you complete your collection. These items, known as Akashi, can be gifted to friends or utilized in combat.
A new strategic element involves scarecrows. You can now use them to summon monsters that will fight by your side, attacking foes and healing your party. For a visual overview, watch the game's trailer below.
Are You Ready to Catch The New Denpa Men on Android?
Denpa Men are peculiar little beings that float invisibly through radio waves. In this game, your objective is to capture them, train them, and guide them on various adventures. Gameplay includes dungeon crawling, island decoration, interacting with your Denpa Men, fishing, and exploring a variety of event-based and extra stages that evolve over time.
You can download The New Denpa Men from the Google Play Store. While it's primarily designed for touchscreen controls, controller support is also available.
