Diablo Immortal has just rolled out a colossal update named The Writhing Wilds, and Blizzard has loaded it with exciting new content that promises to keep players engaged through the end of the year. From a fresh region to explore, to a revamped Battlegrounds mode, new crafting mechanics, and an enthralling storyline, there's plenty to dive into.
What's in Store in The Writhing Wilds of Diablo Immortal
The new region, Sharval Wilds, is a place twisted by rogue Fey spirits, where things have spiraled out of control. Druids and witches are struggling to maintain order, and it's up to you to rise as the protector of this beleaguered region.
The Battlegrounds mode is getting a significant overhaul with the addition of a new map. Whether you're into PvP or experimenting with various builds, the updated mechanics are set to enhance your combat experience.
The Writhing Wilds update also introduces three new Legendary Gems to Diablo Immortal:
- Colossus Engine (5-star): Boosts your skill damage by 50%, increases your size and range, and makes you immune to knockbacks.
- Specter Glass (2-star): Makes your Critical Hits more potent by breaking enemy armor, increasing your damage, and boosting your crit chance.
- Faltergrasp (1-star): Affects enemy movement by slowing them down and disabling their dash skills upon your Critical Hits.
What's the New Storyline?
The Writhing Wilds introduces the Epoch of Madness storyline, which follows the ascent of Albrecht. This narrative is poised to evolve over the coming months, promising substantial developments and twists in the tale.
Crafting in Diablo Immortal is also getting an upgrade. You can now collect materials from Elite Monsters in the open world to craft Legendary items tailored with class-specific perks.
