This enhanced version of the 2010 Wii classic delivers a challenging and inventive 2D side-scrolling platforming experience. What is Donkey Kong Country Returns HD?
This isn't the first re-release for Donkey Kong Country Returns. Following its 2010 Wii debut, a 3DS version launched in 2013, featuring eight exclusive levels. This HD release incorporates all original Wii levels and the additional 3DS content.
The game retains its notoriously challenging gameplay. However, players can now opt for the easier 3DS mode, providing additional hearts and assistance.
Expect classic platforming action: leaping across gaps, swinging from vines, barrel blasting, banana collecting, and more. Two-player couch co-op is also available once Diddy Kong joins the adventure.
