Dredge's Mobile Port Delayed, Closed Beta Set for December

by Sebastian Dec 17,2024

Dredge's mobile release delayed until February 2025, but a new closed beta is now open!

Fans of Black Salt Games' Lovecraftian fishing horror, Dredge, will have to wait a bit longer to cast their lines on mobile. The mobile port has been pushed back to February 2025. However, the delay comes with good news: Black Salt Games has opened sign-ups for a new closed beta test.

In Dredge, players take on the role of a fisherman in the eerie town of Greater Marrow. Initially, the job is straightforward – catching and selling fish. But the ocean holds far more than just typical catches. Strange creatures, mysterious beings, and unsettling events on a nearby island threaten to unravel your sanity.

Ready to experience the unsettling depths? Sign up for the closed beta via this Google form. Despite the delay, Dredge's numerous awards and critical acclaim suggest the wait will be worthwhile for those who haven't already played the PC version.

The delay is understandable, considering the game's expansive world needs careful adaptation for mobile devices. The additional closed beta is a smart move, allowing for valuable player feedback and ensuring a smoother launch.
