eFootball x FIFAe World Cup 2024 Set for Saudi Kick-Off

by Jacob Dec 11,2024

Konami and FIFA's collaboration for the FIFAe World Cup 2024 in Saudi Arabia is a resounding success. The tournament, spanning both console and mobile platforms, begins December 9th and features live audiences and global streaming. Competitors from 22 countries (54 players in the console 2v2 division, 16 in the mobile 1v1 division) will battle it out for a substantial prize pool.

The grand prize is a $20,000 share of a total $100,000 pot! Viewers can also participate by tuning in from December 9th to 12th to earn up to 4,000 eFootball points and 400,000GP through daily bonus rewards.

yt This partnership marks another significant achievement for Konami, following high-profile collaborations with football stars like Messi and pop culture icons such as Captain Tsubasa. While the tournament's appeal to the average gamer remains to be seen, the event's scale and prize money are undeniably impressive.
