Elden Ring is set to make its debut on the Nintendo Switch 2 in 2025, a revelation that thrilled fans during Nintendo's Switch 2 Direct. While specifics on how this version will compare to those on other platforms remain under wraps, the announcement has sparked excitement for the arrival of Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition on Nintendo's latest console.
Since its launch in February 2022, Elden Ring has become a cultural phenomenon, selling over 13 million copies within the first month and nearing 29 million units sold overall. The game has inspired unique challenges, such as defeating bosses with the Nintendo Switch Ring Fit controller, and has fueled ambitious speedrunning efforts.
